With more and more worldwide travellers needing to work and bringing their own entertainment during flights the demand for suitable power sources is ever growing so your power lasts for the entire flight not just the first few hours.

Unfortunately connection availability still depends upon the class, airline and even the age of the plane you are flying on. Older planes are being modernised but even then some airlines only fit connections in the first dozen rows in the regular cabin so getting a seat as far up front as possible is a safe option. First Class generally always has power although the available connection may differ between airlines.
This charger is designed for use with the Empower™ airline seat power supply only.

Don’t rely on the cabin crew knowing anything about the power systems on their planes, reading through some forum discussions on the topic one flyer was informed that connections were not available in their class only to find a connection under the seat!
