For Motorcycles:

Because there was no universally agreed specification for vehicle Lighter sockets and because these sockets were never designed to be used in the Motorcycle environment, the more reliable DIN Standard socket and corresponding plug were designed.
Our Powerlink DIN plug and chargers can be connected to the DIN socket provided as standard on many BMW, Triumph, Ducati and Honda Motorcycles and won't vibrate loose like a cigarette type plug will.
